This device is designed for rapid yet gentle automatic discharge of 6V lead-acid batteries to an initial state of 1.67V per cell for capacity assessment purposes. Following discharge, the battery can be recharged to full capacity using prescribed methods. The discharger automatically disconnects when the process completes.
