DC1000 Universal Resistive Load (48V/1000A)

The load is designed for connection to a 48V DC or AC source. Current can be adjusted in 100A steps by engaging resistor sections using breaker-type mechanical switches located on the top insulating plate. The load can be effectively used in parallel with a 100A load, allowing fine current adjustment up to 1000A in 100 steps of 10A each. Due to high power dissipation, forced fan cooling with external power from 230V/50Hz mains is used. The load is equipped with castors with brakes for locking during transport.
