320 kW – 3×400V/230V 50Hz
This load is specially designed for periodic testing of high-power 3-phase generators with an output voltage of 3×400V / 230V – 50/60Hz. The load is designed as a modular assembly with forced cooling.
The load is modular, with each module in a separate aluminum case, designed for operating voltage of 3×400V / 230V – 50Hz. A single module can be carried by one person.
The assembly consists of 8 identical power modules in two groups. The first 4 modules are equipped with a 3×125A inlet for connection to the generator and a 3×63A outlet for connection to the second type of module. This creates a pair of modules with a total power consumption of approx. 80kW, connected to the generator with a single cable.
The second 4 modules are equipped only with a 3×63A inlet for connection either to the first type module or directly to the generator. This allows great flexibility in connecting to the generator. Each module is equipped with folding handles for easy handling. Modules can be mechanically stacked in pairs.
Module cooling is forced by a fan with the option of power supply either from the standard 230V – 50Hz network or via the built-in socket on the front panel from the first phase of the 3-phase source being loaded.
The load resistors inside are protected by stainless steel housings, ensuring adequate protection against weather conditions and creating protection against dangerous contact voltage. These housings are bonded to the module frame at PE.
Each module is equipped with a connection cable for connection to the generator. Type 1 modules connect with a 5m H07RN-F 5G35 power cable with 3×125A five-pole connectors. Type 2 modules connect with a 5m H07RN-F 5G16 power cable with 3×63A five-pole connectors.
For connection to generators with POWERLOCK type outputs, a distribution box with appropriate cables can be supplied.
